Local Mission is a vital subdivision of the CA Tampa Outreach Ministry, dedicated to demonstrating God’s love in practical, life-changing ways right here in our city. We believe that serving starts at home, and through our Local Mission initiatives, we are committed to meeting the tangible needs of individuals and families across Tampa Bay.
Jesus didn’t just preach love—He lived it. And that’s exactly what we aim to do through Local Mission: love our neighbors as ourselves, one act of service at a time.
Our Local Mission Focus
As a church that exists to Love God, Love People, and Make a Difference, CA Tampa Local Mission strategically serves in the following areas:
Family Empowerment
We support families through:
- Food distribution & pantry programs (Hopeful Hearts)
- Financial assistance for struggling families
- School supply drives & holiday support (Thanksgiving meals, toy giveaways)
Neighborhood Support
- Monthly Serve Days focused on neighborhood cleanup, home repairs, and outreach events
- Partnering with local shelters, schools, and community centers
- Hosting back-to-school rallies, block parties, and clothing drives
Emergency & Crisis Relief
- Mobilizing volunteers and resources in times of disaster or crisis
- Coordinating with local emergency shelters and response teams
- Providing prayer, emotional support, and essential supplies
Why We Serve Locally
Local Mission at CA Tampa flows from our core belief that the local church is the hope of the world—and that hope must start within our own city limits. Tampa is filled with opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus. When we respond to the needs of our neighbors, we display the Gospel in motion.

How You Can Get Involved

Serve on a Local Mission Team – Participate in monthly serve projects around Tampa.
